R-Values sometimes in this business it is a very confusing thing. You hear all the numbers like 9.4, 6.9, 16.8.  What does it mean?

Definition- An R-value indicates an insulation's resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating effectiveness.

This  is a good start, but there are other factors when it comes to Garage Doors like the outer weather seal, the seal between sections, was the door installed correctly, when we looked at the R-Values was this the section only value or the installed Value.

Unfortunately, you don't always get the correct answers so do your homework to make sure you're getting what you want and ask questions.
